Thomas Herrod-Taylor is a Process Engineer with over 20 years of experience in the design of industrial assets including LNG, oil and gas, refining, petrochemicals and chemicals early in his early career followed by plastic recycling, carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS), power-to-X, sustainable aviation fuel, hydrogen and liquid air energy storage (LAES). Thomas has also had forays into ice cream making, insect farming and green whiskey.
Throughout Thomas’ career he has worked at small start-ups through to large multi-national organisations and faced the same challenges, principally transposing data from one application to another; engineers spend a lot of their time administering data. This is his main driver to start a digital engineering business to develop engineering platform-as-a-service so that companies and their investors can develop viable energy transition projects and maximise the value of their data.
